For the fourth year in a row, I am bringing together schools and organizations to help students and jobseekers navigate options for their future. Central Washington businesses are looking for qualified employees, and there are many local resources to help prepare anyone who is looking to take on these positions. The Higher Education and Job Training Expo offers a one-stop shop to provide resources for individuals and students who are ready to graduate from high school looking to further their education and find a career.

Date: September 15, 2018
Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: Hopf Union Building (HUB) at Yakima Valley College, 16th Avenue & Nob Hill Boulevard, Yakima, WA 98902

The Expo will include breakout sessions focused on tips for applying to college and navigating the student aid process:

  • Financial Aid 101 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Help Navigating College Admission from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
