Today’s ceremony was about honoring the sacrifice of Filipino and Filipino-American veterans—including those from Central Washington—who answered the call to service in World War II. It was my privilege to welcome Rey Pascua to represent our local Filipino-American community out of gratitude for his efforts to assist veterans and their families.”
