Newhouse Announces $750,000 Grant to Port of Pasco to Expand Airport Reach

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) announced that the Port of Pasco received $750,000 in grant funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration to add additional destinations. This funding was secured by Rep. Newhouse during Fiscal Year 2021 and 2022 Appropriations Processes.

“Local airports spur a significant amount of economic development throughout our district and provide a steady source of income for our communities,” said Rep. Newhouse. “This grant is a substantial federal investment that will help our community to continue to grow and thrive.”

The U.S. Department of Transportation awarded the following grant:

  • $750,000 to the Port of Pasco for minimum revenue guarantee (MRG) and associated marketing program to recruit, initiate and support new air service to Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport (DFW)
