Newhouse Statement on Election of the Speaker of the House of Representatives

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today Congressman Dan Newhouse (WA-04) released the following statement after the election of the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives.
“Today I was proud to vote for Congressman Mike Johnson from Louisiana for Speaker of the House,” said Rep. Dan Newhouse.
Newhouse continues, “Rep. Johnson is a committed, common-sense conservative and has long been a strong voice in the Republican Conference. He has laid out a plan to get Congress back on track, and to get us back to doing the work we were sent here to do.”
