Newhouse Statement on Passage of Budget Resolution

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Dan Newhouse (WA-04) released the following statement upon passage of the House Budget Resolution that moves the reconciliation process forward and delivers on President Trump’s legislative agenda.

“The passage of this resolution unlocks the process to rein in out-of-control spending, secure our border, and achieve energy dominance. I look forward to working with my colleagues in both chambers to identify savings, and efficiencies, in our federal spending as we move forward.”

The resolution passed with a vote of 217-215.
