Newhouse Statement on Passing of Tribal Chairman Jim Boyd

YAKIMA – Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) released the following statement on the passing of James L. Boyd, chairman of the Colville Tribes:

"Jim’s voice will live on through his music. He will be remembered for his many contributions to the arts, and he was also a respected leader and effective advocate on behalf of the community he served. I extend my condolences to his wife Shelly and his entire family.”
