Dan Newhouse (R-WA) announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded grant funding to the City of Granger through its Economic Impact Initiative Grant Program. The funds will be used to replace two police cars that have high mileage and require significant servicing, improving operations for the police department and benefiting the city's residents.

Dan Newhouse (R-WA) announced that the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded over $515,000 to Okanogan County Fire District 6 in Twisp and Douglas County through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program. WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) cosponsored H.R. 4735, the Provider Relief Fund Deadline Extension Act. This legislation delays Provider Relief Funds (PRF) repayment until the end of 2021 or the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic public health emergency period, allowing hospitals to have extended access and opportunity to use federal funds that were already allocated to support them.
