WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Reps. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) and Mike Levin (D-CA) introduced a resolution to recognize and celebrate the 70th anniversary of Impact Aid on September 30, 2020. As Co-Chair of the House Impact Aid Caucus, Rep. Newhouse leads 90 bipartisan members to support and advocate for the Impact Aid program, which provides critical reimbursements for school districts impacted by nontaxable federal property.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) praised the unanimous passage of Savanna's Act and the Not Invisible Act by the U.S. House of Representatives. Both pieces of legislation were previously passed unanimously by the House Judiciary Committee and the United States Senate. The bills will now head to President Trump's desk to be signed into law.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) joined Reps. John Garamendi (D-CA), TJ Cox (D-CA), Doug LaMalfa (R-CA), and Josh Harder (D-CA) to introduce H.R. 8217, the WIFIA Improvement Act. This bipartisan legislation would amend the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) of 2014 to make public water projects eligible for low-interest, longer-term federal loans from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
