WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA), voted to pass legislation he joined in introducing with Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI): H.R. 5226, the Regulatory Integrity Act of 2016, would direct each federal agency to provide transparency into the proposed rule process by requiring agencies to post, in a central location, all the public comments they issue during the proposed rule stage.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Tax Limitation Committee (NTLC) has honored Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) with its 114th Congress “Tax Fighter Award.”

“I am honored to receive this award for fighting on behalf of taxpayers in Central Washington,” said Rep. Newhouse. “My first act in Congress was to put my support behind the Balanced Budget Amendment and the Tax Code Termination Act. I will continue to work in Congress to rein in fiscal irresponsibility, simplify the tax code, and cut wasteful spending by the federal government.”
